Instruction is designed to meet American Heart Association certification requirements but is catered to your group's individual needs.
I have over 20 years experience teaching health and safety classes, ranging from CPR and first aid to water and boating safety. I use a hands on, discussion based instructional method instead of lengthy videos. In addition to covering all required material, I provide additional training for specific situations that your group may have.
American Heart Association
All American Heart Association certifications are good for 2 years.
Certification cards are issued electronically and are available to print or forward to employers and/or licensing boards.
Classes available: BLS for Healthcare Providers, Adult, Child and Infant CPR, Basic First Aid and AED training
Fees
All classes are $75 per participant. This includes class instruction, travel expenses up to 100 miles one way and card processing fees
-10% discount on classes larger than 18 participants
Class size
Class size can be as small as 1 person to an unlimited number of participants.
The average class size is between 6 and 12 participants. Typically, a class this size will last no longer than 2 hours. Classes larger than 12 can run a little longer. It is always an option to split the training into more than 1 session.
